For this discussion forum, begin by reading the following statement and decide whether you agree or disagree with the statement:
“A college degree is a waste of time and money, and I can earn a better salary with just my high school diploma and my hard work.”
In a post of several paragraphs, discuss the reasons why you agree or disagree with the above statement. What evidence from the lesson or outside research can you find that supports your stand? How can you connect your argument with the terms and ideas we have studied in this lesson? Include in your post evidence for your stand, especially related to the concepts of lifetime earnings, costs of college, and opportunity costs. Why should a person earn a college degree, and if you disagree, why would a person be better off not going to college? Be sure to focus primarily on economic issues in your post.
A college degree definitely holds great value as it entails all details of subjects and practical experience. Secondly, any high school holds limited credentials and has lack of visibility and unauthenticated value for large corporate in getting high skilled jobs. Secondly only graduates can go for post graduate courses.
An average student pursuing graduate studues invests 25,000 dollars and in return starts with national average salary of 40,000 dollars. Opporunity cost for not pursuing is very high and any high schol course just holds internship value .
If I have some homework problems I usually use home assignment services or private tutor helps me.
