Answer #1

1 . METHODS OF GIVING PRAISE AND CRITICISM:-

A) Praise :- B) Criticism

1) BONUS 1) PERFORMANCE REPORT

2) PUBLIC PRAISE 2) TRAINING

3) GIFT OF APPRECIATION 3) GIVING A MENTOR

4) AWARDS 4) CONSTRUCTIVE MOTIVATION

5) THANK YOU NOTE 5) FEEDBACK

2 . In dealing with the actions such as incivility and bullying , my initial approach is NEGOTIATION. I think negotiation and communication can solve many problems rather than giving punishment . In the case of incivility and bullying , i will bring the two parties and make a nice formal communication with them . I would say to the problem creator that organization would be built upon the co-operation of the employees . If you do it today for him ,he will do it for you some other day . It goes on . It was not at all good for the organization . And these kinds of activities would be considered as intolerable by the organization . So , use your time wisely, put your efforts in making the organization strong . By this , i would try make the two concerned parties to compromise and work together.

3 . NEGOTIATION SKILLS :-

They are very important to the organization and the employees as well . The best solution to the problems is NEGOTIATION . Negotiation is the best practice to solve the problems because in this process both the parties will be satisfied with the solution . Communication only solves any kind of complex problems . Generally i use it between the people who misunderstood each other . Only solution to the problem of misunderstandings is negotiation . The thing which i have learned by this is interpersonal problems can be solved by only NEGOTIATION.

4 . STAGES OF PROBLEM SOLVING :-

1) Understand the problem

2) Speak with the concerned parties

3) Communicate the negative effects of the problem

4) Devise a plan

5) Carry out the plan

6) See the result

5 . STAGES OF DECISION - MAKING :-

1 ) Identify the problem

2) Gather the information about the problem

3) Identify the alternatives

4) Analyse the alternatives

5 ) Choose among the alternatives

6 ) Take action

7) Review the decision

CONCLUSION :-

NEGOTIATION ,COMMUNICATION and DECISION MAKING ,PROBLEM SOLVING are the key in building and maintaining the inter personal skills . These are very much effective because they are soft in their approach and can be used to know about the root causes of the problem. This is a good thing in maintaining the interpersonal skills.
