A month after the mid-semester examination, a student approaches his instructor with a doctor's note and requests the instructor to ignore his poor exam performance by not including it in the computation of his final course mark. This student is aiming to become a manager. Do you see an ethical dilemma (or dilemmas)? Explain. What should be the conduct of a student who intends to become a manager? What would you do if you were the instructor for the course?

There are ethical dilemma in the situation I.e if such permission is granted for one student other students will be be the losers and in the same way if it is not granted the student will be in loosing side.

Here, if the student bought a false note from the doctor just to escape from his poor performance in the examination then he is using his management skills. If he is really ill at the time of examination he should have bought that doctors not then and then ask for reconducting that exam only for him after his recovery to be a Good manager.

I will conduct the exam for the student with different questions if there is a possibility for me or I will not permit as it will be injustice to other students.
