1. Rate of a reaction is defined as the change of concentration of reactants and products with respect to time.

2. second order kinetics: Order of any reaction is defined as the sum of the power of the concentration terms present in the experimental determined rate law.

Acc. to rate law rate = k [reactants]^n    where n = order of the reaction.

For seccond order reaction n becomes 2.

3. Equilibrium constant is defined as the ratio of the concentration of all the products to the concentration of all the reactants with their stoichiometry raised to their power.

4. Acc. to Le Chatelier's principle:  “When an equilibrium is subjected to either a change in concentration, temperature or, in external pressure, the equilibrium will shift to that direction where the effect of change is minimum."
