During exercise, the body muscles increases their activity and utilize high amount of oxygen, so the heart rate increases to fulfill the demand of oxygen of the muscle. So, options A and B both are correct. Because muscle need more oxygen during exercise and the cells need oxygen for aerobic cellular respiration.
