Here ,

initial speed , u= 0 m/s

final speed ,v = 0.65 m/s

d = 0.39 m

let the force is F

Using work energy theorem

change in kinetic energy = net work done

0.50 * 72 * 0.65^2 = F * 0.39

solving for F

F = 39 N

the magnitude of net force is 39 N
