Answer: The heart rate reserve can be define as the difference between the resting heart rate and the maximum heart rate. It can be calculated as by using the formula= HRR= HRmax - HRrest.

Usually heart rate reserve is determined exercise heart rates.

The advantages are:

  • Controlling the functional problems such as ego.
  • Heart rate will increase on the basis of environment.
  • This shows how body shoe response to different situation.

The disadvantages are:

  • Lagging of heart rate.
  • Reading can be sometimes abnormal
  • Natural increase in the heart rate without the change in the pace.
