Change is the only thing which is a constant. There are pretty lot of changes happening in healthcare due to information technology and plenty of evolving new diseases. Moreover as the technology advances the treatment modalities also improves and needs change. Nurses role expands to meet the changing health needs. Advanced education related to critical care , cardiac care, respiratory care, maternal & child health care are needed. Evidence based practice care is also should be made mandatory for a nurse .
When advance care practice is provided to nurses it enable them to act independently with other healthcare professionals and to promote a good relationship with physicians.
