When ever a strategy is developed for a non - profit organization and public health organization ,we do a need and capacity assessment which is a essential process to be done before developing and implementing of strategies other than the SPACE analysis that is - strategic planning and action ,evaluation which is done to create an idea of appropriate business strategy . Mostly it's used in profit based organisation .
The need assessment is done to find whether this strategy or policy development is needed or not ,further will there be any benefits from this strategy to the patient's .
Capacity assessment is done to find that whether after this implementation of strategy will there be space or storage for the amendments done in terms of physical equipments etc .
