Q1: Why is it hard to store all patient data in EHR? (i need 500 words)
EHR is Electronic Health Record System . It is used to store patients health information in digital form . Like every system has drawbacks ,EHR also has many, drawbacks some of them are :-
- slow data exchange
- scattered patient data
- patient data cannot be accessed by multiple departments with in the hospital
- difficult storage and retrieval
The last one is the reason for why its hard to store all patients data in EHR . The storage space is less in this software and also the retrieval or back up of data is not possible with this system . EHR has different templates for lab reports , appointment , discharge ,death notes etc all these occupy the space and there is no space for storing all patient data ,those with less bytes gets stored automatically and those with more bytes are not stored safely .
EHR is Electronic Health Record System . It is used to record patients health information . It provides secure access to patients health data . It is runned on a software base made by information technology . Every system has limitations and storage space . Same way EHR also has a set storage space in bytes ,more than that it cannot store and if you try to store the data above storage limit then it will lead to loss of previous patient data's which were already stored and also other problems like hanging , low speed of the software , missing of information etc happens .
