The basic difference between customer satisfaction and customer engagement in a business is that customer satisfaction is the fulfillment of the customer expectation that she been desired whereas, customer engagement is a continuous process by which customers and the organization establish a connection through proper and effective communication that may lead to involvement of the client or customer throughout. If we sell a product to a client and they feel that their expectations are fulfilled by the product then this is termed as customer satisfaction whereas, if the organization creates a relationship with the customer through communication and interaction, then this will be termed as customer engagement.
