Answer: Changes in breakfast:

  • 2eggs scrambled ( with minimum salt)
  • 2 servings of fruits
  • Orange juice.

Snacks:

  • Sprouted grams or boiled grams.

Lunch:

  • Pulses, 1 bowl of rice
  • Greek yogurt 1 small bowl.
  • Green vegetable salad.

Dinner:

  • 2 pieces of Whole grain bread
  • 200grams of baked chicken.
  • Salad.

The specific changes in the diet should be made as saturated foods increases the risk of heart disease and obesity. The weight of the patient is more according to the weight height ratio. The BMI rate of the patient is 30, which means patient is obese.

The snacks should be consist of 1-2 fruit serving. Coke should be eliminated as it contains high amount of sugar which is not good for the client. Cream cheese should also be avoided as it increases the cholesterol level in the body.

Dinner should be very specific as these fast foods such as hot dogs, french fries, coke etc increases the LDL, which is known to be a bad cholesterol. So, the meal in the dinner should be completely removed. Client should include some whole grain bread, eggs, lettuce etc.
