GMO food stand for "genetic modified food" in which the organism genome have been manipulated to produce transgenic organism. The organism could be plant or an animal. Tasmania is a small island that is located Australian South coast. This country is mainly depend on agriculture for their economy. But most of the crops are sensitive to drought, pest and insect. This could lead to the high loss in agriculture. This problem could be resolved using the GMO crops whose genome have been altered, that provide better resistance against pest and insect. These GMO crops are also drouugt resistance, disease free and high nutritional value . But at the same time, these GMO have some limitation. For example, these crop could induce allergy in the humans. These crop increase the bacteria antibiotic resistance in the humans.
