PHR - Patient Health Records.

The records is maintained by the patient itself.It is an electronic application in which the patient can maintain his health information by themselves and other people who are authorised by the patient.This may or may not be connected to hospital and doctors.

I see a major improvement in PHR .

In future due to the use of PHR by everyone it can reduce cost of the treatment.

Increase access to health information will help people to be able to get aware of their health.

Using this will increase the quality of the care in future.

By using PHR the patient can communicate with the care providers easily.

No one knew that the place of WEB in its early stage but it became a mojor part in one's life.The future of the PHR will be also same as web.It will develop into collection of searchable record to sharing which will help and support and buying the services at reduce costs.

And it will also evolve ina way that which gives Information of how to live long and maintain a healthier life.
