How would your calculated value for the molecular weight of your unknown been affected (high, low, no effect) if a small quantity of the unknown stuck to the metal stirring rod and failed to dissolve in the benzophenone?

Well if some of your unknown were to stick to the metal stirring rod then this portion of the unknown would be absent from later calculations after you regain your unknown in solid form. This would cause any calculations involving the mass of the unknown to use a slightly lesser value and in the case of a molecular weight calculation this would cause a low value.

For experiments related to molecular weight determination by colligative properties, if concentration of solute is less, the value of the calculated molecular weight will be lesser than expected.
