Answer: Xarelto ( Rivaroxaban) is an anticoagulant drug which is used to prevent the blood clots.
Mechanism of action:
As it is anticoagulant drug, it main work is to thin blood and reduce blood clots. It acts by inhibiting the free factor i.e. Xa and Factor Xa bound in the prothrombinase complex. It has rapid onset of action with oral bioavailability as it is highly selective and direct inhibit the factor Xa.
