As a nurse should educate the patient to brush the teeth with soft brush and advice to brush smoothly

Advice to avoid doing brush roughly

Instruct the patient to common side effects of anticoagulants such as bleeding from nose or ears and bleeding gums etc .

Advice the patient to apply pressure if any bleeding in sites at least 15 minutes .

Advice the patient for no intramuscular injections

Educate the patient for lab repots such as platelet count etc .

Advice the patient to stop medication if any bleeding signs from any orifices of body .

Advice the patient stop medications if any surgical intervention .
