Work by Pavlov on learning supported to move associationism from its conventional emphasis on ideas which were subjective to quantifiable and objective events of physiology like muscle movements and secretions from glands.
As a consequence, work by Pavlov gave Watson a process for behavioral studies and pursuing to modify and control it. Pavlov was completely dedicated into research. He denied the matters of practicality like living conditions, salary and clothing.
Pavlov’s wife kept him away from the typical matters of outside. She was supposed to take care of the everyday matters and concerns and was not supposed to interfere or disturb him during his working hours.
Pavlov gave credit to Descartes for the development of ideas on reflexes. He noted that the fact which was called nervous reflex by Descartes turned out to be the beginning point of his program of his research.
