Step-by-Step Solution

Solution 1

Microscopes are scientific tools used to study minute objects that are or else difficult to observe unable under naked eye. There are various types of microscopes but two of these; light microscope and electron microscope are widely used.

The major difference between both of them is the amount of magnification and resolution they produce of an image. Light microscope makes use of rays of light that gets focused in one direction and illuminate the object. Images produced by light microscope are not very distinct if the object is smaller than 0.2 micro meters.

Electron microscope on other hand, use beam of electrons to produce the magnified image of an object. Such images are high in resolution and produce magnification 1000 times detailed than the light microscope.
