Any variation in the intake results in poor growth or over growth called the obesity. The variation may due to skipping the breakfast, eating junk food and other eating disorders like anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. Thus obesity is defined as having body mass index 30 and above.

• Teenagers are at more risk of obesity as they have the habit of eating junk food, skipping the breakfast.
• Children who watch a television a lot and not doing any exercise.
• Hereditary is another factor that makes one obese.
• Individuals living in a sedentary lifestyle.
