Factitious disorder as the name indicates it is the false and intentional behavior of a person on ill health and psychological problems. The persons with this disorder will complain physical and psychological problems even though they are not having problem. They play a sick role to obtain and maintain the benefits even in the absence of rewards.
Malingering situation is similar to the factitious disorder but in this situation they will produce psychological or physical problems for some rewards like money compensation, distract from the work etc.
