Dissociative disorder is of three types

• Dissociative identity disorder

• Dissociative amnesia

• Depersonalization/ derealization disorder

Depersonalization refers to the destruction of the mental functioning that the outside world is temporarily lost and in derealization the person thinks that their own reality is temporarily lost. They have a recurrent felling of detachment from the outside environment.
