Building a Standard Image
Now that you know how to install Windows (covered in Chapter 7), use a command prompt window (covered in Chapter 10), and use the Diskpart command (covered in this chapter), you have the skills you need to build a standard image. Recall from Chapter 7 that a standard image can be used to deploy Windows in a corporate environment using a bootable USB flash drive or other bootable media that contains Windows setup files and all the applications and Windows settings that are standard for the organization. Appendix D covers how to create a standard image. Follow the instructions in Appendix D to create a standard image on a bootable USB flash drive.
