Sum of two counter-rotating CP waves. Two oppositely rotating, right- and left-handed, circularly polarized time-harmonic uniform plane electromagnetic waves of the same frequency, f = 1 GHz, travel in the same direction, the positive z direction, and the amplitudes of their electric field intensity vectors are Em1 = 2 V/m and Em2 = 5 V/m, respectively. Write a MATLAB program that plays a 2-D movie in the xy-plane (z = 0) of the two waves, as well as of the resultant wave, obtained by superposition of the two CP waves, during the time 0 ≤ t ≤ 2T = 2/f. Show the three waves in three separate subplots (use MATLAB functions subplot). Arrange the subplots such that the resultant wave is in between the two CP waves. (ME7 25.m on IR)
