During the embryonic life, some basic structures of the brain enclosed in the rostral end of a tube like structure called “neural tube,” differentiate into various parts of the brain.
The neural tube develops into brain and spinal cord. The nerve cells and other cells of the nervous system develop from the neural crest cells (formed from raised edges of neural plate).
Thus, the blank can be filled with neural tube.
