The enzyme transpoase cuts targeted site of Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) at Guanine and thymine (G-T) and Cytosine and Adenine (C-A) sites. The cutting at the targeted site forms sticky ends, where transposable elements are inserted. After insertion, of transposable elements, repairing mechanism takes place with the help of host, which fills up the gaps in the DNA sequence. Finally, a five base pair directly repeated flank elements are formed.
