1. Log onto Windows Vista.
2. What icons are displayed on the desktop.
3. What elements are displayed in the taskbar?
4. What gadgets are configured in the Sidebar (on the right side of the desktop)?
5. Click the Start button. What options do you see?
6. Log off Windows Vista, and then log onto Windows 7.
7. What icons are displayed on the desktop? Compare the similarities and differences of the icons in Windows 7 to those in Windows Vista.
8. Notice the Windows 7 taskbar. How is it different from the Windows Vista taskbar?
9. Is there a Sidebar in Windows 7?
10. Click the Start button. How is the Windows 7 Start button menu different from that of Windows Vista?
11. Log off Windows 7 when you are finished examining the similarities and differences of the desktop to Windows Vista.
