The antidote for digoxin is digibind, which is a Digoxin immune Fab (Digibind) is an immunoglobulin fragment that binds with digoxin.

The nurse should inform the patient that if the patient is taking digoxin then he should avoid taking antacids or antidiarrheals within 2 hr of digoxin. Because there will be drug interaction and it may cause many other problems to the patient. If there will be an adverse drug reaction then the patient will have increased palpitation.

The early sign of the digitalis toxicity is that there will be a severe headache to the person followed by nausea, vomiting and extreme abdominal pain along with blurred vision.
