End of life issue and ethics of care:

1. End of life care refers to physical, psychosocial and spiritual care provided to the patient and their family.

2. Care address the issues related to death and dying, it may be last for minutes, hour and weeks.

Spiritual/ religious / cultural issues of death or dying patients:

1. Understanding expectations, practices related to dying and death vary from each individuals.

2. Quality end life care need to address the spiritual, religious and cultural issues of patients and family.

3. Identify the need to be recorded and plan whatever is possible.

Other issues:

1. Goal of care.

2. Patient and family goal conflict.

3. Physician and patient giant conflict.

4. Transitioning focus of care.  

5. Pain and symptoms management.

Ethical issues related to death and dying patients:

1. Related to withdrawal of intervention and treatment.

2. Euthanasia.

3. Physician assisted suicide.

4. Palliative sedation.

5. Symptoms management at end of life.

6. Decision making.

7. Confidentiality.

8. Autonomy

9. Advance directives/ Surrogacy.

10. DNR- Do not resusscitate.

Environment justice:

1. Environment justice movement born in 1982 in Warren country.

2. It is against environment racism,( any government or industry action fail to act that had negative environment effects which disproportionatly harm the individual, group and community).

3.Principles:

Guarantee the right to environment protection.

Prevent the harm before it occurs.

Shift the burden of proof to the polluter.

Redress existing inequities.

Eliminate the intent standard.

4.Environment justice and investigation:

A. General concepts:

Combine civil rights with environment protection to demand safe healthy environment to everyone.

B. Dumping across birdie:

Targeting poor community and country for proper waste disposal.

II. Women worries of color:

1. Society will ignore.

2. We won't get good life partners.

3. Inferiority complex.

4. Unable to maintain friendship.  

6. Depressed due to color.

7. Hopelessness and worthlessness feelings.
