A clinical decision support system is based on technology which is related to health information. This system is capable of providing clinical decision support or solve any clinical decision tasks for clinicians and healthcare professionals . This technology helps by analysing the overall data to give a blueprint for the recommended care to be provided to patients for their health improvement.

1.DXplain: This is one of the clinical decision support system application .This application uses the clinical findings which includes the patient history, clinical manifestations , laboratory findings to generate set of diagnoses based on the signs and symptoms exhibited by patient.

This application guides the clinicians by providing possible diagnosis for the patient . The clinician by relating the signs of patient, can rule out the appropriate diagnosis of disease. This support system technology enables the clinicians to search information about numerous disease processes.

2.Qmr: Qmr stands for Quick medical reference . This is a clinical or diagnostic decision support system with wide explorative data of disease associations, diagnosis, signs &symptoms along laboratory findings which helps to correlate with the appropriate diagnosis.

This provide the healthcare professionals with abundant knowlegde base of diseases to rule out exact diagnosis.

3.Prodigy: This type of clinical decision support system technology is used in chronic diseases management. This technology is fed with numerous datas regarding chronic diseases patients which helps the general practitioner to formulate guidelines for planning interventions to manage the current patient with any chronic disease.This is a guideline based decision support system.

4. Diagnosis pro: It is a diagnostic decision support system which affords accuracy and less time consumption. This database can be downloaded in Mobile phones and also this provides data about numerous diagnostic possibilities . So the healthcare professionals donot cause any medical error by using this decision support system.

5. ILLIAD: This decision support system is commonly useful for medical students as this has numerous datas regarding diseases and diagnosis. This helps the students to know about the diagnostic evaluation of a disease.
