Because the option d can't be true as reduction potential of Cu+/Cu is +0.16 V which is positive reduction potential and is higher compared to the reduction potential ( = 0.00 V )of standard hydrogen electrode so reduction will occur predominantly on half cell Cu+/Cu

option c is correct because in a galvanic cell, oxidation occurs in the half cell which has the negative reduction potential or positive oxidation potential.

option e is also correct because the cell which is having higher and positive reduction potential among the two will dominate the other and force it to go through oxidation process.
