10kg X 100 mL/kg = 1000 mL per day for the first 10 kg

10kg X 50 mL/kg= 500 mL per day for the next 10 kg

4kg X 20 mL/kg= 80 mL per day for the for the remaining 4 kg

Therefore 24 kg= 10 kg+ 10kg+ 4 kg

So 24 kg = 1000 mL + 500 mL + 80 mL

24 kg = 1580 mL per day

So Reggie, who weighs 24 kg can need 1580 mL per day
