1. Since molecules of nitrogen and hydrogen reacts in the ratio of 1:3. Thus nine molecules of hydrogen will react with three molecules of nitrogen. And since one nitrogen and 3 Hydrogen molecules give 2 molecules of ammonia. Thus 3 nitrogen and 9 hydrogen molecules will produce (2x3=) 6 molecules of ammonia.

2. Number of molecules of nitrogen reacting in the reaction is 3. And number of molecules of nitrogen present initially is 4. Thus nitrogen molecules are present in excess. But all the 9 molecules of Hydrogen are participating in the reaction. Thus amount of hydrogen is deciding the amount of ammonia formed. Thus limiting reagent is Hydrogen.

3. Molecules of Hydrogen remaining = 0

Molecules of Nitrogen remaining = 4 - 3 = 1
