I would educate a client that not every medicine is affected by interaction with food but the ones which are can have high impact on body.
Food may decrease or delay the absorption of drug that is why drugs like azithromycin.should be taken on empty stomach and some are easier to tolerate when taken with food.
So, before taking every medicine you should know whether it has any interaction in GI TRACT with food or not becuase if it does, the effect might not be seen and then will be misdiagnosed.
