Module 06 Discussion - Common Medication-Nutrient (Food) Interactions
For this discussion forum, find three interactions between
medications and nutrients (food). List the interaction, foods to
avoid while taking the medication, and describe key points that
should be included in client education regarding the
interactions.

Some antibiotics such as tetracycline and Fluroquinilone have an interaction with milik,chess,and other dairy products.Becouse the paricles contains calcium which may interfere the absorption.

Blood thinning drugs such as coumedin,(warfarin)which may interfere with vitamin k dependant products.
Which will be interfere in clotting.
?Thyramin contain foods.
Thyramin is an amino acid find in the foods high consumption of thyramin contain foods couses the breakdown of some medications.
Example MAO inhibitors which used to treat in depression and drugs used to treat Parkinson disease.
The food includes- chocolate,hotdogs,cheese,fermented meat,soy products,and draft beers etc.
