2.it is essential to find out that catheter is in place.if there is any displacement occur or not.check that is there any serous drainage.if it is displaced air can enter through it so it would be better to check it before and after each dressing.

3.peripheral venous catheter is placed in smaller vein which is present in the hands or legs because these line is small size.while ,central venous line is a large tubes which is mainly inserted in large veins.The main insertion sites are neck and femoral region.

4.1.jugular line-this is placed in jugular vein of neck.

2.femoral line-this is inserted in the femoral vein of groin region.

3.picc line-upper arm is the main site of inserting picc line.
