1. Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by increased blood sugar levels. It is of two types :-

Type 1 and Type 2

# Etiology of sort 1diabetes mellitus is inadequacy of insulin or expanded obliteration of pancreatic cells delivering insulin

Etiology of sort 2 diabetes mellitus is cell's protection from the activity of insulin .

Gestational diabetes cause is change in the dimensions of hormone amid pregnancy makes the cell's impervious to the insulin activity.

Risk factors of diabetes mellitus are:-

-family history

age

- latency

- pregnancy

- weight

- ecological elements

- nearness of harming pancreatic cells

- geology

- hypertension

- race

- polycystic ovary illness

- strange triglycerides and low store lipoprotein

# Comorbities associated with diabetes mellitus is :-

- Hypertension

- Dyslipidemia

Diabetic foot

- Obesity

- Cardiovascular malady

- Amputation

- Non-alcoholic greasy liver

- Cancer

- Depression and tension issue

2. Clinical findings are:-

- polyuria

- polyphagia

- polydipsia

- weakness

- exhaustion

- sudden vision changes

- shivering or deadness in hands or feet

- dry skin

3. Analytic test incorporates:-

Glucose levels evaluation

- fasting plasma glucose levels 126 mg/dl or more
