Chronic diseases are long and slowly progressive in nature.

Risk factors of chronic diseases can be eliminated by property drug therapy.

2. Diet and exercise in preventing chronic diseases:

1. Diet without saturated helps to reduce atherosclerosis.

2. Fibre diet helps to prevent atherosclerosis by breaking cholesterol.

3. Low carbohydrates diet prevent impaired glucose tolerance.

4. Protein diet helps in body building.

5. Exercise helps to prevent atherosclerosis.

6. Exercise burnout the excessive carbohydrates and fat.

7. Fruits and vegetable are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidant. This helps to Improve immunity and prevent diseases.

Factors can not be controlled:

Hereditary cannot be controlled.
