It includes the services such as annual health check ups, regular dental checkups, immunizations etc. The main goal of preventative health services is to prevent the disease before it occurs and prevent the spread if it has already occurred. There is need for increased preventative health care services like regular school checkups where we can find out anemic students and give them iron tablets, compulsory eye checkup for elderly people in order to control cataract , glaucoma etc. If a family has history of cancer then they must be compulsorily screened for marker gene.. hence by implementing such steps the individual will have control over their health and can lead a healthy life.

The nurse practitioner will inspect the patient , find out the diagnosis, provide treatment and consultations.. and they will be having rights to prescribe medications. The job nurse practitioner is not as popular as batchelor degree of nursing. More registered nurse must enroll in this also. If there are more nurse practitioner, then consistent quality health care can be rendered to all the clients in need. In emergency cases nurse practitioner can play a major role by provide the primary care and stabilizing the client.
