DABDA:

DENIAL: The initial stage of the grief process. The individual refuses to admit that something is true Eg) Had to accept someone's loss or deny the fact that they are going to die.

ANGER: Following the first stage individual accept the reality but they start to ask Why me? become angry and frustrated with the things happening that they cant accept to tolerate.

BARGAINING: when denial and anger have not brought them any desired outcomes individual starts to bargain about the fact.

DEPRESSION: If the person finds out there terminal illness or loss is sure they go into the pace of depression. This is a very crucial stage.

ACCEPTANCE: This is the final stage, the individual completely accept and patiently wait for the death. At this stage should provide holistic support for the person, use touch as a mode of communication if needed.

HEALTH BELIEF MODEL: It is used in health promotion and disease prevention programs for the prediction of the health behavior of the individual. This model shows perceived susceptibility and belief of consequence (Perceived severity) potential positive benefit of the action ( Perceived benefit), Barrier of action (Perceived benefit) and confidence inability to succeed. Perceived Severity: The probability of a person change his/her behavior to avoid the consequence.

Perceived benefits: Changing one personal behavior is hard people find it difficult to adapt to changes and stick to there habits even after knowing the risk factors

Perceived susceptibility: People change their behavior only when they find their health is at risk.
