Answer: Strategic planning is important for healthcare planning as strategic planning helps in creating enhanced methods which can be utilised to improve vision of the healthcare organizations. In the healthcare, it is important that the system flow should be improved and effective. So, the strategic planning directly address the problems, their solution as well as goals and mission.

Need assessment is Perfomed to a particular population or community to know about the specific requirements. For example, in a particular community, people are unable to seek help from healthcare professionals. The need assessment is being performed and the result was that there were no healthcare clinic. So, there were need of healthcare clinic and facilities.

There are various methods of gathering information for need assessment such as interviews, target groups, asking questions etc. The better method of data collection is the questions. There are set of questions that are being asked to a particular group of people to know about the specific problems they are facing. This method directly meets the requirements and demands.
