Answer: The most significant barrier to communicating across cultures in a face to face environment is the facial expressions. Sometimes the gestures as well as facial expressions can convey another message rather than the actual message.

The communication with an individual from another culture occurs more difficult in the virtual method as although there is language problem but there is also difficulty in understanding. Sometimes patients becomes unable to express their pain or problem. So, virtually it is not possible for the healthcare professional to assess the pain.

It is important to get the feedback from the client such as asking various questions related to the understanding of the client. Evaluating the understanding of patient from their response.
