Atomic size increases from top to bottom in a group and decreases from left to right across a period.

Metallic character increases from top to bottom in a group and decreases from left to right across a period.

Ionization energy decreases from top to bottom in a group and increases from left to right across a period.

Electronegativity decreases from top to bottom in a group and increases from left to right across a period.

The size of cation is always smaller than corresponding neutral atom and the size of anion is always larger than corresponding neutral atom.

Ans: E and the remaining four statements A, B,C,D are wrong
