Answer: If the patient is in not in condition to take any decision or he is not in conscious then another person acting for the Patient can take decision on the behalf of the patient and can refuse treatment when the results may be death. This is because the patient himself not in condition to talk, think, he is out of his conscious so the person, family members can take the decision.

Patient can take decision of himself but when he is not in the condition to take decision, family members can take decision on the behalf of him. This is the right of the patient.
