Advance directives is a living will which gives durable power attorney to a surrogate decision maker, remain in effect during the incompentency of person to making it.

Refusal of treatment:

Refusal treatment is a own decision about non willing to continue treatment.

This refused to be done only by patient or with help of advance directives.

Another person or acting for the patient can not able take decision on refusal of treatment.
