High protein diet most likely produces long term weight loss results because amino acid breakdown is an energy-intensive process which helps us losing weight easily.

But high fat diet will make easier to gain weight because fat has a high factor which makes easier to gain weight.

So protien high diet is more useful for long term weight loss.
