Microsystems are the essential building blocks of larger organization and of the health system .It is the place where patients , families and care team meets . These are front line units that provide health care to the patient's .
The quality and value of health care produced by a large health system can be no better than the services generated by the small systems of which it is composed . These are the systems which are inbuilt in the organization like the emergency rooms, dialysis units etc .
The aim of the microsystems is to provide a high performance, seamless ,patient centered ,high quality ,safe and efficient care to the patient's with the use of advanced technology , radioactive agents, other equipments and facilities available within the organization and these are the driving versus restraining forces for the use of thermal / radioactive agents in the microsystem by the public health professional .
