1) Constipation occurs in majority of cases due to dietary habits. Outline to avoid constipation are-

a) dehydration is most common cause so drink plenty of water

b) include yogurt in your diet , probiotic improve gut health

c)) , clear soups, prunes, apples , pears, include in diet

d) slowly eats the food, this will improve the digestion

e) regularly do exercise

2)   Instructions to collect stool sample

a) collect stool sample from each of the 2 or 3 bowel movements in a clean container.

b) with help of applicator stick apply smear of stool on card , make it dry then return to lab

c) premenopausal women must avoid to collect specimen during or in first three days after menstruation

d) avoid eating red meat, fish, peroxide rich fruits ,vegetables like reddish, carrot. turnip, melon,  

e) write name, date, Address on sample covering

3) self catheterization

self catheterize urinary tube drains urine from bladder because of urinary retention, urinary incontinence , prostate problems. Some people need to catheterize 2-4 times a day, or even after 4-6 hours

instructions are

wash your hands , rinse out the catheter with solution of one part of white vinegar and four part of water then rinse in cold  water and after this hang the catheter over a towel to dry , and when it is dry store the catheter in new plastic bag
