B) Yes. Consuming more than 10% of saturated fat from daily calories increases the risk of heart disease and weight gain. Saturated fat is considered bad cholesterol that builds up plaques in the arteries and increases the risk of heart disease. Too much saturated fat increases your weight and develops the risk of diabetes. So saturated fat should be less than 10% of your daily calories.

For example, in a 2000 calorie diet, saturated fat should limit to 140 to 200 calories (16 to 22 grams) per day.
