There are many uses of narcotic or. Barbiturate ,sleep medication in the USA since ancient time . Following uses are given below
1) Pain-these are very effective for the treatment of pain during surgery, degenerative conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, chronic cancer pain, headache etc
2) they are also using seizure disorders, conversion ,severe trauma to the skull.
3) barbiturate also used in jaundice and alcohol and benzodiazepine poisoning and their withdrawal
4) use in anaesthesia
After first world war rapid increase in the use of various barbiturate, narcotics , opioids was seen in US.even the report of the US tariff commission on production and sale of this medications show that since 1954 at least 700000 pounds of the substances have been produced each year.even food and drug administration indicate that hundreds of thousands of these drugs are being sold legally each year in the United States by professional criminals as well as by the some manufacturers pharmacist and physicians. These drugs are very helpful and useful in medical purpose but however their use may be abused and The definite addiction to them may ensue. The danger of addictions to this drugs is very high even they can cause respiratory distress and even death also. These are regulated by the narcotic drug laws of the state. Search drugs delivered by the proper prescriber in a good faith on prescription and is is a fixed to the immediate container in which search progress delivered a proper level. These drugs are very useful when it is taken in a proper way and in proper dose in particular disease and symptoms while if the dose exceed from the normal or being addicted leads to worsening the health. Insurers are very particular about these medications . Because these are not included in the insurance if the use in the addicted form.
